Education

I graduated from North Georgia College & State University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. In 2009 I received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. I then went on to receive my Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in 2010. I have also earned endorsements in the areas of Reading, ESOL, and Gifted Education.

Experience

I began my teaching career as a fifth grade teacher in Gilmer County before coming to West Fannin. At West Fannin I have been fortunate to have the experience of teaching grades second, third, fourth, and fifth. Presently, I am the fourth grade Reading and ELA teacher and have taught in this position since 2010.
