School Health & Wellness Information

At West Fannin Elementary School, we are committed to supporting your child’s total wellness—physically, emotionally, and academically. Our goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, healthy, and cared for while at school.

If your child experiences any changes in health status, please notify the school nurse as soon as possible. Keeping both your child’s nurse and teacher informed allows us to provide the best possible care during the school day.

If you are interested in participating in the school’s wellness committee, please reach out to the principal and let him/her know of your interest.  

Guidelines and forms for health topics can be found on our Nurse's page.  Some topics are: allergies/anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetes, immunizations, medication administration, scoliosis, seizures, vision/hearing screening, diabetes I & II, lice, and water safety.
