Meet the Assistant Principal

It is my pleasure to serve West Fannin Elementary as the interim assistant principal. I have over 25 years of experience in education with a little over 20 of those being served at West Fannin. During this time, I have had the opportunity to teach third, fourth, and fifth grades. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of teaching technology and computer skills to all of our elementary students.

In 1994, I received my bachelor’s degree in middle grades education from Brenau University. I went on to earn my master’s degree in early childhood education from Piedmont College in 1998. My desire to learn and advance in my profession led me to earn my educational specialist degree in curriculum and instruction in 2004. I am also certified in gifted education and instructional technology.

West Fannin is truly home to me. I am a lifelong resident of Fannin County. My father graduated from West Fannin High School, I attended West Fannin Junior High, and my children attended West Fannin Elementary. It has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember.

My husband, Mark, and I live in the Epworth community. We have three children who graduated from Fannin County High. We enjoy spending time with family, cruising around the lake, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!
